Hello! My name is Cyndi Haider (pronounced Hyder). My husband Dan and I moved out to the farm 10 years ago along with his two boys, Scout & Chance and my daughter, Jessalyn. Dan lived in the city his entire life up to that point and his boys weren't too sure about living in the Country.
I lived on a farm of a little over 100 acres growing up where we raised mostly cattle and wheat. I have always loved the country and think it is a great place to raise kids.
We started building our farm slowly, first a couple of rabbits, then 6 chickens and then a goat and it grew from there. My daughter Jessalyn loves animals too and joined 4H when she was in middle school where she showed rabbits and chickens. In High School she joined FFA to show her goats (Nubian, Nigerian and Pygmy) and this year, joined OHSET so she could compete with her horses, Faith, a Quarter Horse and Chia, our mini Pinto horse (who suddenly passed away in October 2015.
Our animal collection just keeps growing! Miss Faith is staying up the road for now, but we still have several goats , rabbits, chickens, a few turkeys and now Quail.
We often have chickens for sale. We raise the Cornish Chickens for meat along with Turkeys for the Holidays. We have Farm Fresh Eggs available in our store in all sizes from Quail to X-Large They sell out quickly so call us at 503-682-9328 or stop by for eggs! All our chickens are free range and now are fed organic feed!
